DC ADDS TO LIST OF TV SHOWS IN A SUPER WAY

While Marvel has been spewing out movies for the big screen, DC seems to be intent on dominating the small screen with yet another television show being added to the list. With shows like "Arrow", "The Flash", "Gotham", and "Constantine" already to premiere and debut, DC Comics is reporting that a "Supergirl" series will be joining the ranks.

Not much has been revealed quite yet, with the news just recently breaking. However we do know that the series will be on CBS and will have Greg Berlanti as executive producer. Who happens to also produce "Arrow" and "The Flash". We also know that they will be attempting to try and keep it closer to the comic book character based on the description given; Born on the planet Krypton, Kara Zor-el escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she’s been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.

Curious as to if it will also be apart of the "Arrow/Flash" universe. Same producers, different networks. Guess we will find out.
